Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire, a quiet community situated in The West Island of Montreal is an example of a "sleepy" place. In reality, the West Island, to those who are unfamiliar with it, is a large area that extends from Lachine all the way west. It is often cited as the birthplace of Amanda Brugel but while that is true, her stay there was not long. Brugel was raised in Courtice in the town of Oshawa. She was determined to become a professional dancer but due to her rapid growth spurt she outgrew all of her dance partners.
